Texas Fine Craft Show returns hosted by The Woodlands Arts Council

The three-day Texas Fine Craft Show that will return in 2025, bringing artists and craftsmen from around the country to The Woodlands.

The show takes place Sept. 26-28 at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center. The nonprofit arts council also hosts The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival each April.

“Fine craft is more than art — it’s a celebration of skill, tradition and identity. Each handcrafted piece tells a story. Across the different media, you’ll see passion brought to life by artists and designers from across the country,” said Haley Garcia, Texas Fine Craft Show chair and president of The Woodlands Arts Council Board of Directors.

This is the second year for the Texas Fine Craft Show after its debut in November 2024.

The art council defines fine craft as functional objects of art including those made through weaving, glass blowing, pottery and metal and wood works.

Furniture, wearable art, glass ware, jewelry, leather and wood items will also be featured. The work of more than 60 artists will be showcased. See a listing of all the artists on the Texas Fine Craft Show website

“As we continue to grow the Texas Fine Craft Show, our goal is to establish it as one of the premier fine craft events in the US,” said Jenny Carattini-Wright, executive director and CEO of the arts council.

The show kicks off Sept. 26 with the fundraiser “Cheers!” a preview of the show from 5 to 9 p.m. at the hotel and convention center. The evening features entertainment and light bites with the first opportunity to view and purchase the works of art.
