This grand celebration of contemporary art transforms Paris and the surrounding towns into open-air museums. Never heard of Nuit Blanche? This exceptional cultural event gives pride of place to contemporary art in all its forms. For a whole night, from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., hundreds of venues invite us to discover and enjoy concerts, shows, performances, exhibitions and events of all kinds, imagined by French and international artists.
The program changes every year. To orchestrate such a rendezvous, the City of Paris calls on artistic directors, who choose the theme of the edition, and help set up several artistic animations.
In 2025, actress and screenwriter Valérie Donzelli was chosen to lead this Nuit Blanche. The theme at the time was cinema. This year, artist and DJ Barbara Butch is at the helm of the event. Nuit Blanche 2026 revolves around love, a theme that’s as inspiring as it gets!
