Menstrie art exhibition to showcase Forth Valley artists

The exhibition was originally intended to form part of the ALLT Festival programme, however due to unforeseen circumstances, the festival was postponed with no new date currently confirmed.

Despite this change of plans, the artists involved decided to continue with the exhibition independently and are ‘delighted’ to still be able to bring the show to the public.

The exhibition aims to not only provide support for local artists, but also to make contemporary art more accessible to the local community.

A wide variety of art forms are set to be displayed, including paintings, printmaking, photography, mixed media, and contemporary visual art.

These pieces have been created by both emerging and established artists, providing a snapshot of the vibrant art scene in the Forth Valley.

The exhibition will run from June 14 – 24 at Elmbank Mill, The Charrier, Menstrie FK11 7BU.

Free entry will be offered to all visitors.

The exhibition will be open daily from 11am to 4pm.

The venue is also accessible via public transport for those travelling from outwith the area.

Further enhancing the experience will be the opening night celebration scheduled for Saturday June 13 from 6pm to 8pm.

Members of the public are warmly invited to come along, view the artwork, and celebrate the thriving creative community within the Forth Valley.

The event is intended to be welcoming and accessible to all, including those who may be visiting an art exhibition for the first time.

Alongside the exhibition, there will also be pop-up stalls, workshops, and artist talks announced throughout the exhibition period.
