Forging New Paths in Contemporary Art

The Filiberto and Bianca Menna Foundation, Center for Contemporary Art Studies, and PrintLitoArt have signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at producing artist lithographs and publishing a catalog dedicated to the works produced within the collaboration. The agreement was signed by the president of the Foundation, Letizia Magaldi, and the president of Boccia Industria Grafica, Carmela D’Amato. The planned activities are part of a cooperation path between the two entities aimed at promoting contemporary art and supporting selected artists. The Filiberto and Bianca Menna Foundation, based in Salerno, operates as a center for studies and research on contemporary art, inspired by the critical thinking of Filiberto Menna. PrintLitoArt is an Italian platform specializing in the printing of art lithographs and digigraphies, accompanied by certification, numbering, and marking. Under the agreement, the Foundation will select the artists involved and provide the informational materials necessary for the production of the works, while PrintLitoArt will handle the printing of the lithographs and the creation of the catalog that will collect the works. The agreement also includes collaboration on cultural initiatives and activities to enhance the participating artists. ‘This agreement represents a new step in the promotion of contemporary art carried out by the Foundation,’ said Letizia Magaldi, emphasizing the goal of expanding the dissemination of current works and artistic languages. Carmela D’Amato highlighted how the collaboration fits into PrintLitoArt’s activities in support of artistic production, providing technical expertise and structures for the printing and dissemination of works. The Memorandum of Understanding thus initiates a structured collaboration between a cultural institution and a productive entity in the graphic sector, with the aim of developing projects related to art printing and the documentation of contemporary art.
