First look as popular sculpture park unveils new exhibition

A sculpture park tucked away on the Argyll coast is to open its doors with a “spectacular” new gallery of outdoor artworks.

The Caol Ruadh Sculpture Park, near Colintraive on the Cowal peninsula in Argyll, will showcase artworks and installations from award-winning artists when the show begins next month.

Set on the shores of Loch Riddon with views down the Kyles of Bute, the park covers 18 acres of landscaped gardens around the grounds of the distinctive redbrick Caol Ruadh House, which dates back to 1898.

First opened to the public in 2012, this year’s exhibition features works from across Scotland.

Workshops and tutorial classes will also be held during the two months the exhibition is available to view.
