Schedules for the limited series of whole-day painting workshops are from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
Each session explores a different painting style and subject — from still life and landscapes to seascapes, human figures and portraits with key techniques such as composition, color mixing, light and shadow, and texturing, whether working in acrylic or oil.
Guiding the participants is Sunshine Place’s longtime painting instructor and highly experienced visual artist.
Sarmiento has received numerous prestigious awards, here and abroad, and presently the president of the Art Association of the Philippines and a former member of the board of trustees of the National Museum, among others.
