A Durban content creator
recently plugged a hidden gem on social media – a fun,
family-friendly outing that blends nature, art, and a touch of magic.
Tucked away in Kloof, the Ammazulu Sculpture Garden spans 20 acres and features five unique galleries, along with a coffee pavilion.
The Ammazulu Sculpture Gardens, owned by well-known architect Peter Amm, opened to the public in October 2020.
The gardens promise to wow guests with the majestic greenery and sculpture collections.
Some of the most-loved sculptures in the gardens include vibrant,
abstract flowers made from blue water bottles and various recycled
materials that bring colour and creativity to life in unexpected ways.
There
are also massive, eye-catching structures that resemble Ferris wheels,
straight out of a carnival dream. In addition, the stunning horse
sculptures, crafted from hundreds of delicately welded metal pieces, are
truly impressive.
