The first GoGoSafari 2025 sculpture has been revealed

And things are set to heat up even more as the first GoGoSafari 2025 sculpture has been officially unveiled.

Wild Harmony was showcased at an exclusive event at the Forum for businesses involved in the latest GoGo trail coming to Norfolk this summer.

The striking giraffe, created by acclaimed artist Liobhan Alanna, is the first glimpse of what the public can expect from the vibrant art trail.

Alanna is known for her uniquely intricate designs inspired by the natural world, and this sculpture has been aptly sponsored by the Zoological Society of East Anglia (ZSEA).

Rachael Cozens, community and engagement manager for ZSEA, said: “We absolutely love Wild Harmony. It’s such a timeless design and the gold accents really stand out.

“We chose a giraffe as we have them at both Africa Alive and Banham Zoo, making it a perfect fit.

“We’re so proud to be part of GoGoSafari and can’t wait to see all the wonderful sculptures out on the streets.

“The project aligns perfectly with our values – not just conservation, but community engagement and we’re excited to see how much the trail raises for Break’s incredible work.”

GoGoSafari, delivered by Break in partnership with ZSEA alongside Norwich BID and Chantry Place, will bring the incredible display of 51 large-scale sculptures of lions, elephants, rhinos, giraffes, and gorillas to the county from June 23 to August 30.

Each sculpture will be uniquely decorated by artists and sponsored by local businesses.

And more than 60 ‘Mini G’ giraffes, painted by schools and community groups, will also form a separate trail in venues across the city, showcasing the creativity of Norfolk’s young people.

  • There are still opportunities for people to be part of GoGoSafari. Volunteers can sign up as Trail Rangers, helping visitors navigate the trail, engage with sculptures, and ensure everyone has a fantastic experience. Visit gogosafari.co.uk to find out more.
