The Festival of Fine Craft at WheatonArts in Millville drew large crowds Saturday despite the dreary weather.
Approximately 150 artists are exhibiting and selling their handcrafted works of art, ranging from paintings, wood sculptures, ceramics, and jewelry and other wearables at the fest, which runs through Sunday afternoon.
The ever-popular glass pumpkin patch returned, although in smaller quantities due to the coronavirus pandemic. The WheatonArts Glass Pumpkin Fundraiser supports arts educational programming at the facility.
The festival continues, rain or shine, until 5 p.m. Sunday. In addition to the artwork, planned activities for the whole family include Paper Bowl Scarecrow Face making, Tissue Paper Stained Glass Apple making, Beaded Fall Corn making, and Scarecrow Construction making.
Artist demonstrations throughout the day are also scheduled, including glassblowing, jewelry making, paper cutting, spinning and weaving, chair caning, woodturning, wheel-thrown pottery, and broom making.
WheatonArts is located at 1501 Glasstown Road in Millville. Admission is $12 for adults, $11 for senior citizens, and $7 for students. Children 5 and under are free.
