Kothagudem: Cheques distributed to women at Nava Women Empowerment Centre


Kothagudem: Women trained by Nava Women Empowerment Centre earned Rs 2,59,690 by selling palm leaf artworks and stitching uniforms for Nava Limited staff.

The centre is being run by Paloncha-based Nava Limited as part of its corporate social responsibility activities to ensure livelihood support for rural women. Nava Limited Executive Director Nikhil Devineni, along with its Vice President (Telangana Operations) Rear Admiral Sarath Babu (veteran) and General Manager (CSR) MGM Prasad, handed over the cash cheques to the women.


Nikhil Devineni and Sarath Babu appreciated the skillful products made by the women and encouraged them to continue their work and earn well to support their families, said a release here on Saturday.
