“Improbable Refuge” by Shar Coulson, a new artist at Cappaert Contemporary Gallery. Submitted.
Cappaert Contemporary Gallery has opened for its 12th season, welcoming visitors daily from 10 am to 5 pm at 7901 Hwy 42 in Egg Harbor.
This season, the gallery has introduced three new featured artists to its roster. Brian Sindler, a popular participant in the Door County Plein Air Festival, will showcase his tonal landscape paintings inspired by the Midwest’s natural beauty. Also joining the gallery is Shar Coulson, a well-known Midwest artist whose expressive mixed media paintings bring texture and depth to contemporary art. In addition, Deb Mortl will feature her creative silver and naturally styled jewelry designs inspired by the Great Lakes.
These additions accompany all-new work from the gallery’s established contemporary artists, as well as abstract landscape paintings by gallerist Ginnie Cappaert.
