The event, geared towards budding writers, will take place on Wednesday, August 13 from 10.30am to 12.30pm.
Peter Roe, the lead editor of the Jawbone Collective, will take the lead at the event, which targets individuals drawn to poetry, short stories, or journaling.
Designed with the aim of supporting and inspiring the creative journeys of aspiring writers, the event promises to offer expert guidance to spark inspiration and kickstart participants’ writing.
Alongside this, attendees will be handed a set of techniques to develop their personal style and perspective.

The community space on the ground floor of the Dorset Museum and Art Gallery located on High West Street, Dorchester, will transform into a supportive, inclusive environment, bolstering the confidence of prospective writers.
The writing workshop, among its other offerings, will also present opportunities for attendees to transform their ideas into finished pieces.
Enthusiasts will have a chance to see and interpret the world around them in new, enriching ways.
The workshops take place on the second Wednesday of every month and are free of charge.
